Ingredients

  • 1 bag or 1 tbsp hojicha tea bags or loose hojicha
  • 6 oz hot water
  • 4 oz whole milk
  • ½ tbsp honey or brown sugar

Instructions

    Brew hojicha in hot water for 2–3 minutes until rich and fragrant.

    While tea steeps, warm milk in a saucepan over medium heat, whisking gently until foamy, about 90 seconds.

    Pour brewed tea into a cup. Stir in honey until dissolved.

    Pour frothed milk into the tea, holding back foam with a spoon, then top with remaining foam.
