Ingredients

  • 1 crust frozen pie crust (9-inch)
  • 1 lb crawfish tails (thawed if frozen)
  • ½ medium yellow onion
  • ½ medium bell pepper (red or green)
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 tsp Old Bay or Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Dice the onion and bell pepper into 1/4-inch pieces.

    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and pepper, cook until softened, ~4 minutes.

    Add crawfish and Old Bay, stir for 1 minute until fragrant, then pour in cream and simmer 2 minutes.

    Pour crawfish mixture into the pie crust. Bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and filling bubbles at edges.

    Rest for 3 minutes. Slice and serve hot.
