Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- ¾ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ¾ lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 6 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Instructions
- 1
Boil salted water in a large skillet over high heat, then add penne and cook until al dente, about 9 minutes.
- 2
While pasta cooks, season steak generously with salt and pepper, then sear in a separate hot skillet 2 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- 3
Toss green beans with oil and salt on a sheet pan, then roast at 400°F until crispy and charred, about 10 minutes.
- 4
Drain pasta and return to the skillet. Push pasta to the side, add shrimp to the empty space, and cook until just pink, about 2 minutes.
- 5
Pour cream and Cajun seasoning over shrimp and pasta, then toss everything together until the sauce coats evenly, about 1 minute.
- 6
Slice the steak, then plate the pasta, top with steak, and serve with roasted green beans on the side.
