Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) silken or soft tofu
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 large stalks scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 small handful bonito flakes or seaweed snack (optional but strongly recommended)

Instructions

    Unwrap the tofu and place it on a plate. You can serve it cold straight from the fridge.

    Whisk soy sauce, grated ginger, and rice vinegar together in a small bowl until combined.

    Pour the sauce evenly over the tofu block.

    Top with sliced scallions and bonito flakes. Serve immediately with a spoon.
