Ingredients

  • 2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye)
  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 whole egg white
  • 1 handful ice cubes

Instructions

    Pour whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white into a cocktail shaker.

    Shake vigorously without ice for 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white into foam.

    Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake hard for 10 seconds until very cold.

    Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

    Top with a cherry and serve immediately.
