Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.25 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

    Whisk flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, and sugar in a bowl until smooth.

    Let batter rest 5 minutes so flour fully hydrates and bubbles release.

    Heat an 8-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until a water drop sizzles immediately.

    Pour 1/4 cup batter into the center, then tilt and swirl the pan to spread it thin.

    Cook until the bottom is light golden, ~90 seconds, then flip and cook the other side 30 seconds.

    Transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining batter, stacking crêpes as you go.

    Serve warm with jam, Nutella, fresh berries, whipped cream, or lemon juice and sugar.
