Ingredients

  • 1 package (2 sheets) frozen puff pastry sheets
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp coarse sugar (optional, for topping)
  • ¼ tsp fleur de sel or finishing salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Thaw puff pastry at room temperature for 5 minutes.

  2. 2

Mix cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl. Brush both pastry sheets with melted butter, then vanilla extract.

  3. 3

Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered pastry. Press gently so it sticks.

  4. 4

Starting at one short end, tightly roll each pastry sheet into a log. Slice each log into 4 spirals (8 total).

  5. 5

Place spirals cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with coarse sugar and a pinch of salt if using.

  6. 6

Bake until golden brown and crispy, 10–12 minutes. Serve warm.
