Ingredients

  • 4 whole apple, medium
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F. Core each apple from the top, leaving a 1/2-inch base intact at the bottom.

  2. 2

Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Divide the mixture evenly among the apple cavities.

  3. 3

Top each apple with a small piece of butter. Arrange them in an oven-safe baking dish.

  4. 4

Bake for 18–22 minutes, until apples are tender when pierced with a fork and edges look caramelized.
