Ingredients

  • 1 sheet (14 oz) puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 whole egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

    Peel, core, and dice apples into 1/4-inch pieces. Toss with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

    Unfold puff pastry on a cutting board. Cut into 8 rectangles (roughly 3x4 inches each).

    Spoon 1 tbsp apple mixture onto one half of each rectangle, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

    Fold pastry in half over the filling. Press edges with a fork to seal.
