Ingredients

  • 1 8-inch round store-bought vanilla cake (or 1 box cake mix, baked per package)
  • ½ cup store-bought vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter
  • 12 count lollipop sticks or pretzel rods
  • 1 package black sprinkles or edible marker (for eyes)
  • 1 sheet parchment paper

Instructions

  1. 1

Crumble the cake into fine crumbs into a bowl. Fold in frosting until the mixture holds together like wet sand.

  2. 2

Roll mixture into 12 golf-ball-sized rounds. Place on parchment paper and chill in the freezer for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

Microwave semi-sweet chips + 0.5 tbsp coconut oil in 30-second bursts, stirring between, until melted and smooth.

  4. 4

Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into melted chocolate, then insert into each cake ball. Dip the ball halfway into chocolate.

  5. 5

Microwave white chocolate chips + 0.5 tbsp coconut oil until melted. Drizzle over the chocolate-dipped pops to create ghost effect.

  6. 6

Add two black sprinkles or dots with edible marker for eyes before the white chocolate sets. Chill until firm, ~5 minutes.
