Ingredients
- 12 pieces frozen wontons (pork)
- 4 tbsp neutral oil (divided)
- 3 tbsp chili oil (store-bought)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves, minced
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp Sichuan peppercorns (or red pepper flakes)

Heat 2 tbsp neutral oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 60 seconds.

Add 6 wontons in a single layer. Pan-fry without stirring until golden and crispy on one side, 2 minutes.

Flip each wonton and fry the other side until crispy, about 90 seconds. Transfer to a plate.

Repeat steps 2–3 with remaining 2 tbsp oil and 6 wontons.
