Ingredients

  • 4 thighs (about 1 lb) chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp each salt and black pepper
  • 8 count frozen mini waffles
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup

Instructions

    Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

    Dredge chicken in flour, coating both sides. Shake off excess.

    Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high until foaming, ~90 seconds.

    Pan-fry chicken 6 minutes per side without moving until golden brown and cooked through.

    Meanwhile, toast mini waffles in a toaster until hot and crispy, ~4 minutes.

    Sandwich one chicken thigh between two waffles. Drizzle with maple syrup. Serve immediately.
