Ingredients

  • 2 chops (about 6 oz each) pork chops (1 inch thick), boneless
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ whole (juiced) lime
  • 2 stalks scallions, sliced
  • 1 whole chilies (Thai bird's eye or red), thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 60 seconds.

  3. 3

Sear pork chops 2 minutes per side without moving—edges should turn golden brown and crispy.

  4. 4

Push chops to the side. Add minced garlic to the empty space and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. 5

Drizzle honey and soy sauce over the chops. Tilt the pan to coat everything; let it bubble 60 seconds.

  6. 6

Squeeze lime juice over the top. Plate chops and spoon the glaze over. Garnish with scallions and chilies.
