Ingredients
- 1 ball store-bought pizza dough (1 lb ball)
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1.5 tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp pearl sugar or coarse sugar, for topping

Preheat oven to 400°F. Roll the pizza dough into a 10-by-12-inch rectangle on a sheet of parchment paper.

Mix the softened butter with sugar, cardamom, and cinnamon until fragrant and well combined.

Spread the spiced butter mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a thin border on all sides.

Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log, then cut crosswise into 8 equal pieces.

Arrange the swirls on the parchment paper cut-side up, sprinkle generously with pearl sugar, and bake for 12 minutes until golden.
