Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp cardamom, ground
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Unroll dough onto a sheet pan and gently stretch it into a 10×12-inch rectangle.

    Spread softened cream cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border on all sides.

    Mix cinnamon, sugar, and cardamom in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the cream cheese.

    Starting at one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 8 equal pieces.

    Arrange rolls cut-side up on the sheet pan. Brush lightly with melted butter.
