Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed, 1 sheet ~14 oz)
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground cardamom
  • 2 tbsp pearl sugar or coarse sugar (for topping)

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

    Lay puff pastry sheet on a clean surface. Brush with melted butter until fully coated.

    Mix sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over the buttered pastry.

    Starting at one long edge, tightly roll the pastry into a log. Slice into 8 equal pieces.

    Place buns cut-side up on the sheet pan, spacing 2 inches apart. Sprinkle pearl sugar on top.

    Bake for 12–14 minutes until golden brown and edges look set. Cool 2 minutes, then serve warm.
