Ingredients
- 2 large croissants
- 2 oz dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Slice each croissant horizontally, leaving one edge attached like a book.
- 2
Break the 2 oz dark chocolate into pieces and place them inside each croissant, distributing evenly.
- 3
Melt the 1 tbsp butter and brush it over the outside of the croissants. Sprinkle the 1 tsp sugar over the tops.
- 4
Place the croissants on a baking sheet and bake until the chocolate is melted and the tops are deeply golden and slightly caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.
- 5
Let cool for 2 minutes before serving warm, so the chocolate sets slightly and doesn't burn your mouth.
