Ingredients

  • 10 oz boneless chicken breast or cutlet
  • 6 oz ramen noodles (instant or fresh)
  • 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes (gochugaru)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Pound chicken to ½-inch thickness, then season with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 1 minute.

  3. 3

Pan-fry chicken without moving until golden brown, 4–5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.

  4. 4

In the same skillet, boil water and add ramen noodles, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes.

  5. 5

Add gochujang, butter, and chili flakes. Toss noodles until coated in glossy red sauce, 1 minute.
