Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp butter

In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups flour with 0.5 cup water and a pinch of salt until a dough forms. Knead for 2 minutes until smooth, then cover with a towel.

In a small bowl, toss 1 cup mixed berries with 2 tbsp sugar. Let sit while you roll the dough.

On a floured surface, roll dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 3 inch circles. Place 1 tsp berry filling in each, fold over, and press edges to seal.

Boil a large pot of salted water. Drop in pierogies in batches, cook until they float, about 3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon.

Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry pierogies until golden on both sides, about 4 minutes total. Serve warm.
