Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 medium apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the 1 sheet puff pastry on a baking sheet and prick it all over with a fork.

  2. 2

Peel and core the 2 apples, then slice thinly. Arrange the slices over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

  3. 3

Sprinkle the 2 tbsp sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon over the apples. Dot with the 1 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces.

  4. 4

Fold the pastry edges over the apples to create a rustic crust. Bake until golden and apples are tender, about 20-25 minutes.

  5. 5

Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
