Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb beef sirloin or chuck, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 2 whole (juiced) lemon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 large red onion, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 whole red bell pepper, cut into 1.5-inch pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

    Add beef cubes to the marinade and toss until coated. Cover and chill 30 minutes.

    Heat grill to medium-high. Thread beef onto skewers, alternating with onion and pepper pieces.

    Grill skewers 10–12 minutes, turning every 3 minutes until beef is charred and cooked through.

    Transfer skewers to a plate and rest 3 minutes before serving.
