Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 whole lemon, juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 medium red onion, cut into 1-inch chunks

Instructions

    Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

    Add beef cubes and stir until coated. Marinate at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours.

    Preheat grill to medium-high heat or heat a grill pan until shimmering, ~3 minutes.

    Thread beef and onion chunks alternately onto metal skewers, leaving 1/4-inch space between pieces.

    Grill skewers 8–10 minutes, rotating every 2–3 minutes, until beef is browned outside and medium-rare inside.

    Transfer to a plate and rest 2 minutes before serving.
