Ingredients
- 1 lb beef stew meat
- 2 medium onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper

Heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the 1 lb beef stew meat in a single layer and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the 2 sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they soften and turn golden, about 5 minutes.

Pour in the 2 cups beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Season with the 1 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp black pepper.
