Ingredients

  • 6 sheets filo sheets
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

    Heat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

    Toss apple slices with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl until evenly coated.

    Lay one filo sheet on a clean surface and brush lightly with melted butter.

    Sprinkle 1 tsp panko on the buttered filo, then layer 2 tbsp apples in a strip down one long edge.

    Roll the filo tightly around the apples, tucking in the sides. Brush outside generously with butter.

    Repeat steps 3–5 with remaining filo and apples. Arrange seam-side down on the sheet pan.

    Bake until filo is golden brown and crispy, 12–14 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before serving.
