Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (1 can)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups neutral oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high until a pinch of dough sizzles on contact, ~2 minutes.

    Unroll crescent dough and cut into bite-size pieces (about 1.5 inches each).

    Fry dough pieces in batches for 1–2 minutes per side until deep golden brown; don't crowd the pan.
