- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 whole egg
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon, divided

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix softened butter and 0.75 cup sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy, about 1 minute.

Beat in egg until fully combined, then fold in flour and 0.5 tsp cinnamon until no dry bits remain.

In a small bowl, mix remaining 1 tsp cinnamon with 2 tbsp sugar for the coating.
