Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.

    Melt butter and brown sugar together in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes until melted.

    Remove from heat and fold in flour, salt, and chocolate chips until no dry flour remains.

    Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.

    Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown at the edges but still soft in the center.

    Cool on the sheet 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
