Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 set caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, chopped nuts, and brownie chunks for topping

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt butter and stir in brown sugar until combined, about 1 minute.

    Stir in egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Add flour, salt, and baking soda; stir until no dry spots remain.

    Fold in chocolate chips with a spatula. Spread batter evenly into a 10-inch cast iron skillet.

    Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden brown but center still looks slightly underbaked.

    Remove from oven and let cool 2 minutes. Top generously with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
