Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground lamb
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can (14 oz) canned diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) canned chickpeas, drained
- ½ cup red lentils
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp harissa paste (or ras el hanout)

Brown ground lamb in a large pot over medium-high heat, breaking up clumps with a spoon, ~5 minutes.

Add diced onion and cook, stirring, until softened and fragrant, ~3 minutes.

Stir in harissa paste, then add tomatoes, chickpeas, lentils, and broth.

Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered until lentils are tender, ~10 minutes.
