Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 whole large eggs
- 1.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
- ½ tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 sheet pan with parchment paper.

Whisk together 0.25 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.

Beat butter and remaining 0.5 cup sugar until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add egg and mix until combined.
