Ingredients

  • 20 oz store-bought pound cake (two 10-oz cakes or equivalent)
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 cups marshmallow cereal (Charms, Froot Loops, or Fruity Pebbles)
  • 3 drops per batch gel food coloring (red, yellow, blue)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1

Slice each pound cake horizontally into two layers, creating four layers total.

  2. 2

Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form, about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

Divide frosting into three bowls. Tint each with a drop of food coloring (red, yellow, blue).

  4. 4

Set first cake layer on a serving plate. Spread red frosting on top, then sprinkle one-third of cereal.

  5. 5

Stack second layer, frost with yellow, sprinkle cereal. Repeat with third layer and blue frosting.

  6. 6

Top with final cake layer. Frost the outside with remaining white frosting and press cereal pieces around sides.
