Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 24 count wonton wrappers
  • 2 tbsp green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 count garlic cloves, sliced
  • 2 cups bok choy or spinach

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix pork, green onion, ginger, and soy sauce in a small bowl until combined.

  2. 2

Spoon 1 tsp filling into the center of each wonton wrapper.

  3. 3

Wet the edges with water. Fold diagonally into a triangle, then bring corners together and pinch to seal.

  4. 4

Bring broth and garlic to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

  5. 5

Carefully slide wontons into boiling broth. Stir once to prevent sticking.

  6. 6

Simmer until wontons float and broth is clear, about 4 minutes.

  7. 7

Add bok choy or spinach. Cook 1 minute until wilted.

  8. 8

Ladle into bowls. Season with salt and white pepper to taste. Serve hot.
