Ingredients

  • 10 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds or pistachios, chopped
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 oz white chocolate, shaved (garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1

Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving edges to hang over for easy removal.

  2. 2

Melt chopped white chocolate and butter in a microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth.

  3. 3

Sift matcha powder into the melted chocolate and stir until no lumps remain and the color is evenly pale green.

  4. 4

Pour the mixture onto the parchment and spread into a thin, even layer about 1/4-inch thick.

  5. 5

Sprinkle sesame seeds and sea salt evenly over the surface while chocolate is still wet.

  6. 6

Top with shaved white chocolate garnish, pressing gently to adhere.

  7. 7

Refrigerate until firm and completely set, about 15 minutes.

  8. 8

Break into shards by hand or with a knife. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
