Ingredients

  • 2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye)
  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 whole cherry (for garnish)

Instructions

    Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.

    Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the shaker frosts over and foam builds on top.

    Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

    Top with the foam from the shaker and crown with a cherry.
