Ingredients

  • 2 oz whiskey (rye or bourbon)
  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 whole egg white
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

    Add whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white to a cocktail shaker without ice.

    Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the mixture is foamy and pale.

    Fill a rocks glass with ice and strain the cocktail over it.

    Top with a cherry and a thin lemon wheel. Serve immediately.
