Ingredients
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 3 tbsp hot water (not boiling)
- ½ tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup cold milk (dairy or oat)
- ½ cup ice cubes

Pour matcha powder and sugar into a small bowl. Add hot water and whisk vigorously for 60 seconds until foamy and pale.

Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in cold milk until three-quarters full.

Gently pour the whipped matcha on top of the milk. The foam will float; the matcha suspension sinks below.

Stir before drinking, or sip the fluffy top first then stir. Serve immediately.
