- 3 tbsp hot water
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup per serving cold milk (whole, oat, or almond)
- ½ cup per serving ice cubes

Add matcha powder, hot water, and sugar to a small bowl.

Whisk vigorously with a fork or small whisk for 60–90 seconds until the mixture turns pale green and foamy, with stiff peaks forming.
