- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1.25 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar

In a large bowl, whisk together the 1.5 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, and 0.5 tsp salt. In another bowl, beat the 2 eggs with 1.25 cups milk and 4 tbsp melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined; the batter should be slightly lumpy. Do not overmix.

Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it. Pour about 1/2 cup of batter onto the hot iron and cook until golden and crisp, about 4-5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

In a chilled bowl, whip the 1 cup heavy cream with 2 tbsp of the powdered sugar until soft peaks form, about 2-3 minutes.
