Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup ground almonds
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups flour, 0.75 cup ground almonds, and a pinch of salt.

  2. 2

In another bowl, cream 0.5 cup softened butter with 0.25 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, then gradually add the flour mixture until a soft dough forms.

  4. 4

Shape dough into small crescents (about 1 tablespoon each) and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.

  5. 5

Let cool for 5 minutes, then roll in remaining 0.25 cup powdered sugar while still warm.
