Ingredients

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough sheets
  • 1.5 cups cottage cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ⅓ cup raisins
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix cottage cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and raisins in a bowl until combined.

  2. 2

Lay out 1 phyllo sheet on a work surface and brush lightly with melted butter.

  3. 3

Repeat layering and buttering until you have 4 phyllo sheets stacked.

  4. 4

Spread half the cottage cheese filling across the phyllo 2 inches from the bottom edge, leaving a 1-inch border on sides.

  5. 5

Roll tightly from the bottom, tucking in the sides as you go. Transfer seam-side down to a buttered baking sheet.

  6. 6

Repeat with remaining 4 phyllo sheets and filling to make a second roll. Brush both rolls with remaining butter.

  7. 7

Bake 18–20 minutes until golden brown and edges curl. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
