Ingredients

  • 4 large flatbreads
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion
  • ½ cup parsley
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F. Place the 4 flatbreads on a baking sheet and set aside.

  2. 2

In a bowl, mix 1 lb ground beef, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1 finely chopped onion, and 1 tsp salt until well combined.

  3. 3

Spread the meat mixture evenly over the flatbreads, leaving a small border around the edges.

  4. 4

Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and the edges are golden and crispy.

  5. 5

While baking, heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the remaining half of the chopped onion and cook until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes.

  6. 6

Remove the pizzas from the oven and top with 0.5 cup fresh parsley, 0.5 cup pomegranate seeds, and the crispy onions.

  7. 7

Slice and serve hot, with lemon wedges if desired.

  8. 8

    Enjoy your homemade Turkish pizza!
