Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • ½ medium red onion
  • 4 cups lettuce
  • 1 tsp sumac

Instructions

  1. 1

Season the 1 lb lamb with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over high heat and cook the lamb until browned and cooked to your liking, about 8-10 minutes for medium. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix the 1 cup yogurt with 2 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

Halve the 1 cup cherry tomatoes, dice the 1 cucumber, and thinly slice the 0.5 red onion. Place the 4 cups lettuce in a large bowl.

  4. 4

Add the tomatoes, cucumber, and onion to the lettuce. Toss gently to combine.

  5. 5

Top the salad with the sliced lamb and dollop the garlic yogurt over it. Sprinkle with the 1 tsp sumac and serve.
