- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm water
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ¼ cup pistachios

In a large bowl, mix 2 cups flour, 1 tbsp yeast, 2 tbsp sugar, and 0.5 tsp salt. Gradually add 0.75 cup warm water, stirring until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.

Heat 2 cups vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll into 1-inch balls.

Fry the dough balls in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown all over, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Melt 0.5 cup chocolate chips in a microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over the warm donuts.
