Ingredients

  • 4 cups dashi stock
  • 8 oz pork belly or shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup daikon radish, peeled and sliced

  • 7 oz firm tofu, cubed
  • 3 tbsp miso paste

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large pot, bring 4 cups dashi stock to a boil over medium-high heat. Add 8 oz sliced pork and cook until it changes color, about 3 minutes.

  2. 2

Add 1 cup daikon and 1 cup bamboo shoots. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until daikon is tender, about 10 minutes.
