Ingredients
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 1 whole green chili
- ¼ cup cilantro
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add 1 tsp mustard seeds and cook until they splutter, about 1 minute.

Add 4 chopped tomatoes and 1 chopped green chili. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tomatoes are soft and mushy, about 8-10 minutes.

Stir in 1/4 cup chopped cilantro and 1/2 tsp salt. Cook for 2 more minutes until fragrant.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Blend until smooth, or leave chunky if preferred. Serve warm or at room temperature.
