Ingredients

  • 2 6 oz each salmon fillets
  • ⅓ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Place salmon skin-side up in the pan and sear 3 minutes without moving until the bottom is golden.

    Flip the salmon, brush the cooked side generously with teriyaki sauce, and sear 2 more minutes.

    Brush the top with remaining teriyaki sauce, sprinkle sesame seeds over the fillets, and cook 1 minute until glossy.
