Ingredients

  • 16 oz (about 3 cups) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup jalapeños, sliced
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

    Add tater tots in a single layer. Cook without stirring until golden and crispy, 7–8 minutes.

    Sprinkle cheese and jalapeños evenly over tots. Cover skillet 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.

    Remove from heat. Drizzle sour cream over the top and season with salt and pepper.
