Ingredients

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 400 g firm white fish fillets (cod, halibut)
  • 1 tbsp oil for brushing
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
  • 2 piece lemon wedges
  • ½ medium onion slices

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels. Check for bones and remove any with tweezers.

  2. 2

In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, lemon juice, kasuri methi, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

  3. 3

Coat fish fillets generously with the marinade, ensuring both sides are covered. Place in a shallow dish.

  4. 4

Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes while you prepare the grill.

  5. 5

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Brush grates lightly with oil to prevent sticking.

  6. 6

Grill marinated fish for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through and grill marks appear. Fish should flake easily with a fork.

  7. 7

Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with fresh cilantro, onion slices, and lemon wedges.
