Ingredients
- 4 whole green bell peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut the 4 bell peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membranes, and place cut-side up in a baking dish.

In a bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 1 cup cooked rice, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 tsp oregano, and 1 tsp salt. Mix until just combined.

Stuff each pepper half with the meat mixture, mounding it slightly. Press gently to pack.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 160°F).
