Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup vanilla wafers or butter cookies, crushed
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, halved
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam or compote

Instructions

    Pour cream into a bowl and whip with a whisk or electric mixer for 2 minutes until soft peaks form.

    Fold in sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form and the mixture looks fluffy, about 1 minute more.

    Layer into four glasses or bowls: crushed cookies on bottom, whipped cream in the middle, strawberries on top.
